Claire D. Fournier Marnoch

She was the wife of the late Robert L. Marnoch Sr. Daughter of the late Roland and Emma (St. Pierre) Fournier. Devoted mother to Robin L. McDonald, Robert L. Marnoch, Jr and Rosemary L. Marnoch; loving Nana of 8: doting Nonnie of 25 and delighted great-great-grandmother of one; Beloved sister of Doris P. Bachand and Hope C. Fitton and Aunt/Great Aunt to 15.

Claire was very active in the communities where she resided; 35 years in Seekonk, Mass and 25 years in Chepachet, RI. Always willing to lend a hand, she enjoyed her time volunteering at the local granges and FOPA, member of Providence Club of Printing House Craftsmen, 4-H cooking and sewing Club leader, held office and traveled extensively with the Royal Travelers, and was an active communicant of Our Lady of Mt Carmel and St. Eugene Church. Always there for friend or family, opening her home, heart and hearth for everyone, especially at holiday time.

Visitation will be held Sunday, 3-6 p.m. with her funeral on Monday at 10 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11a.m. in St. Edward Church, 997 Branch Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private.
