Claire Angela (Merlino) Grande, 84, passed away January 16, 2016.
She was the wife of the late Domenic Grande; daughter of John and Clara (DiPrete) Merlino; mother of Vincent E. Macari and wife Carol, Robin A. Quinn and husband Wayne; nana of Ashley and Christopher Macari; sister of Frank Merlino M.D., Anne Salvadore and the late John Merlino.
Claire had worked as the Assistant Activities Director at the Morgan Health Center and as a receptionist at Berkshire Place before retiring.
Visitation Wednesday, 4-7 p.m. Funeral Thursday at 10 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meeting Street, 1000 Eddy Street, Providence, RI 02905.
