Born in Bristol, she was the daughter of the late Gennaro and Mary DeFelice; wife of the late Michael J. Cappucci; mother of Carmella A. Farrell and her husband Brian, with whom she resided; grandmother of Brian M. Farrell, Karen A. Sclama and her husband Robert; great-grandmother of Brooklyn Sclama; and sister of the late Frank, Vincent, Louis, Michael and Fannie DeFelice. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Cappucci had worked as a jewelry supervisor for R&J Manufacturing of Warren for 25 years, retiring in 1982. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends, but most of all, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, especially the love of her life, great-granddaughter Brooklyn.
Visitation will be held Thursday, 5-8 p.m. with her funeral on Friday at 9:30 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol, followed by burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Bristol.
