Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Jack Dillon and the late Catherine Bishop Dillon, wife of the late William C Lynch, and the late Elidio Francisco.
She is survived by her daughter Claire DaSilva and husband Armand, her daughter Carol Legare and husband Kevin, her six grandchildren: Ashley DaSilva, Corey DaSilva, Courtney DaSilva Souza, Sean Legare, Caylin Legare and Ryan Legare.
She was overjoyed meeting her great grandson, Lucas William Souza.
Carol is also survived by her loving sister Catherine Johnston, along with many nieces and nephews.
Carol lived a fulfilled life with family and friends. She brought joy and comfort to everyone who met her. A special thank you to Claudette Brouillette,who shared her time and friendship with Carol during the last few months of her life.
Carol's funeral will be held on Saturday September 17, 2022 at 8:15 am from Russell J. Boyle Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence, RI followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St John Vianney Church, 3609 Diamond Hill Rd, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland, RI.
Visiting hours are Friday, September 16, 2022 from 4:00-7:00 pm.
