Brett P. Masse

 Brett P. Masse, of Cumberland, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 after 21 years of touching lives and hearts, surrounded by his loving family, Michael N. and Elizabeth A. “Betsy” (Viera) Masse, and brothers Justin M. Masse and his wife Summer Zhou, and Daniel F. Masse and his wife Mikaela, and their daughter Elizabeth (Ellie) Masse.

He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Francis A. Viera, and Linda Viera and paternal grandmother, Ann F. (Goodwin) Masse, and aunts and uncles, Francis and Raphaela Viera, Jr., Maurice and Barbara Smith, Susan Masse, and Kevin and Marcia Masse. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Barbara (Waugh) Viera, his paternal grandfather, Normand R. Masse, and his aunt, Ann M. Toguchi.

Brett’s family would like to thank everyone who touched his life through NRIC, Cumberland School System, Women & Infants Hospital NICU, and Hasbro Children’s Hospital, for the wonderful care, consideration, and love shown to all of us over these many years. Words alone cannot express our appreciation.

The funeral service for Brett will be held Tuesday, at 10:00 am, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston, Visiting hours Monday, 4:00 – 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to CHIPS - Dr. Angela Anderson, Hasbro Children’s Hospital,  593 Eddy Street, Providence, RI 02903, Attn Tracey Wallace, in his memory will be appreciated.
