Anthony was born in Providence, RI on January 18, 1943 to the late Leonard and Alice (Penta) Curreri.
Anthony was the beloved husband for 59 years to Corinne (DeRobbio) Curreri. He was the loving father of Leonard Curreri (Briana Curreri) and Julie Curreri (David Sirota). He was the greatest “Poppy” to his grandchildren: Lenny, Lily, Anthony, Justina and Eliana. He was the step grandfather of Justine and Mitchel Sirota. He was the step great grandfather of Callie Rose. He was the brother of Judy Cimini.
Anthony served in the Army National Guard. Anthony worked for Gilbane construction and Diso construction for many years. He retired working from Cardi Corporation. Once retired he became a resident of Jensen Beach, Florida.
Anthony was one of a kind. He could do it all. He was a man of all trades. He had a love for flying in which he received his pilots license. He enjoyed boating, fishing, golfing, hunting, being in his garage and most of all being surrounded by his friends and family.
Anthony was one of the finest. He had a true heart of gold. He had a terrific sense of humor and always made everyone feel special.
Anthony left an imprint on our hearts that will never be erased. “A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.”
