Anna (Buontempo) Mento, 91, formerly of Columbus Street, passed away December 7th.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Saverio and Antonetta (D’Andreta) Buontempo. She had been the wife of the late Joseph Mento.
Beloved mother of Gioacchino “Jack” Mento and his wife Eileen and Annette Sardelli; grandmother of David Sardelli and Susan Wilson and 4 great-grandsons; sister of the late Katherine Brillon.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, 4-7 p.m. with a funeral on Thursday at 10 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins Street, Providence, followed by interment in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
