Anna M. Mattson

Anna M. (DelMastro) Mattson, 85, of Barstow Street, Providence passed away peacefully on February 23, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Gallucci) DelMastro.

Anna worked for Uncas Manufacturing and Welch Manufacturing for many years before retiring. Anna dedicated her entire life to her family, raising her grandchildren with her daughter and she also helped raise her great grandchildren.

She was the mother of Ann (Mattson) Muench; grandmother of Michelle Ziobrowski and her husband Robert, Thomas May, Jr. and his wife Daina, Melissa Allen and Christina May and her husband Jason Link and great grandmother of Nicole, Jason, Jr., Justin, Destiney, Hailey, Thomas, Lucas, Olivia, Amaya and Evan. She was also the sister of the late Thomas and Alfred DelMastro.

Her funeral will be held Friday, March 1, 2019 at 8:30 am from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston.
