at 11:00 a.m., at the Assembly of God Church in Mitchell, Oregon.
Peter was born in Portland, Oregon on September 24, 1937 to Otis and Mary Ross.
He served our country in the Army from 1955 to 1959.
Peter married Patricia Phillips on July 22, 1960 in Vancouver Washington. He worked as a Hay Farmer – Cattle Rancher. Peter was an avid fisherman, hunter and camper. He loved to garden, build furniture and toys. He also did mechanic work for many people. Peter would help anybody when they needed help. He lived to tease people and to make them laugh.
Peter is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Patricia Ross of Prineville, sons; Robert Ross of Prineville, Gary Ross (Katherine), and Bear Ross (Jennifer) all of Madras, Oregon.
Daughters; Tami Creese (Roger) of Prineville, and Robin Wilgar (Richard) of Henderson, Nevada. He also leaves behind a sister, Dolly Brown of Texas, 12 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents & his step-parents, his sister; Sharon, brothers; Hubert and Lester Mayfield, and grandson Shawn Wilgar, granddaughter; Candi Dalton and numerous Aunts & Uncles.
