Peggy Arlene Puckett

Peggy was born on May 6, 1947 in Prineville, Oregon to parents Chet and Alta (Larkin) Newbrey. She went to Crook County High School and

received her GED years later at the age of 47, which she was very proud of. She worked at several of the Crook County Schools for 25 years as a cook helper, retiring in 2003.

She loved camping trips with her family, going on vacation to Disneyland/Disneyworld, collecting vintage jewelry at any garage sale, but her true

passion was a ministry of cards that she sent out weekly to church family and friends for all reasons to show her love for the person or family.

Peggy leaves behind her loving husband of nearly 50 years, Nathan Puckett of Prineville, OR; children Lori Puckett-Follett (husband Guy) of Redmond, OR; son Buddy (wife Shawn) of Salem, OR; brothers Dan Newbrey of Vancouver, WA, Joe Newbrey of Prineville, OR; Larry Newbrey of Moorehead, MN; 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

There will be a memorial service at Prineville Church of the Nazarene on Saturday, April 26th at 11AM.
