Jeanette “Jean” R. Juba Lusk, 96, of Princeton, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019.
Born April 19, 1923 in Scranton, PA; she was a daughter of the late Mike and Anna Boyonawicz Juba.
Jean was of the Christian Faith and served her country proudly in the United States Navy. She was a Navy WAVE during World War II and was at Pearl Harbor when it was bombed.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Chester H. Lusk; 10 siblings; and a granddaughter, Hollee Lusk of Portsmouth, VA.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving children, Alvin Lusk and wife, Brenda of Sparta, TN; Linda Pendleton and husband, Paul of Princeton; Roscoe Lusk and wife, Rusty of Portsmouth, VA; Randy Lusk and wife, Mary Beth of Bluefield, WV; a granddaughter whom was like a daughter, Lisa Dicker and husband, Mike of Bluefield, WV; grandchildren, Dallas and wife, Melonie, Kevin and wife, Melody, Rozalen, and Brock and wife, April; 9 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; a sister, Eva Rotenberry and husband, Larry of Baltimore, MD; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Services to celebrate the life of Jeanette “Jean” R. Juba Lusk will be held 3:00PM Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Princeton, WV with William Hatcher officiating. Following the services Jean will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton.
Friends may gather with the family from 2:00Pm until time of the service Sunday at the funeral home.
