Betty Meade Conley

Betty Meade Conley, 90, of Bluefield, VA formerly of Rocky Gap, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 15, 2017.

Born April 26, 1927; she was a daughter of the late Will D. Meade and the late Julia Cooper Meade.

Betty was of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith, last attending in Rocky Gap, when her health permitted.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Clifford Conley; sisters, Dorothy Johnson, Manise Hester, and Ethel Dodson; brothers, Sam Meade, Carl Meade, Junior Meade, Earl Meade, and Felix Meade.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving sons, Joe S. Conley and wife, Helen of Rocky Gap and Ronald W. Conley and wife, Cheryl of Bluefield, VA; sisters, Louise Parks of Marion, VA, Bernice Duncan of Alexandria, VA, Margie Pinter of Hillsville, VA, and Ilene Sizemore of Tazewell, VA; four grandchildren, Lisa Y. Perry of Pulaski, VA, Amber Wilson of Virginia Beach, VA, Dr. Ashley Goodman of Bluefield, VA, and Russell McGuire of Dublin, VA; three great grandchildren, Chandler and Alyssa Asbury of Bluefield, VA and Kaya Wilson of Virginia Beach, VA; one great-great-grandson, Cayden Asbury of Bluefield, VA; extended family and friends.

Services to celebrate the life of Betty Meade Conley will be held 2:00PM Friday, November 17, 2017 at Roselawn Funeral Home, 450 Courthouse Road Princeton WV 24740 with Rev. Fred Furches officiating. Following the services Betty will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Joe at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton.

Friends may gather with the family from 1:00PM until time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
