Annie Mae Lester

Born April 20, 1929, in Burnwell, WV, she was the daughter of the late Michael Yakovsky, Sr. and Grace (Holcomb) Yakovsky. She was a switchboard operator for Bluefield State College as well as a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis H. Lester, brother Mike Yakovsky and sister Blanche Bell Grigelis.

She will be lovingly remembered by nephews Michael Ray Yakovsky and wife Jenny of TN, Rodney Sparkman of Beckley, WV and George Grigelis III also of Beckley, WV. Nieces Mary Sparkman, Judy Sparkman and Natalie Vaught of Beckley, WV and Debbie Yakovsky of Montgomery, WV as well as a host of friends.

Special Thank You for all the caregivers that helped in her final days.

Funeral services for Annie Mae will be held on Monday, December 22, 2014, at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel, 450 Courthouse Rd., Princeton, WV at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Robert Poole officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.
