Robert was born to Robert and Nancy Keddie March 30, 1950 in Muirkirk, Scotland. He immigrated to Canada with his parents and brother Sandy in 1956 and grew up in Canmore Alberta until moving to BC in 1969. Robert spent the rest of his years in BC, moving the family north from the lower mainland to Burns Lake BC in 1981 where they owned and ran a restaurant. Robert relocated to Prince George in 1989 where he recently retired in December 2021 after many years working as a residential care worker with AIMHI.
Robert is survived by his two children, Tina (Ryan) and Robbie (Carlene) and is also survived by 4 grandchildren Paige, Breanna, Brett and Brenden, as well as 6 great grandchildren Piper, Bowyn, Mattix, Braxyn, Royce, and Violet. Robert is predeceased by his parents, Robert and Nancy Keddie, brother, Sandy Keddie, and most recently nephew, Shane Keddie in mid March.
There is no service by request. Interment of ashes will take place in Canmore, Alberta at a later date.
