Thelma Cook McGhee

McGhee, Thelma Cook a resident of Deatsville, AL born September 18, 1926 passed away February 16, 2015 at the age of 88 after an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Wilbur Foy McGhee. She is survived by her 5 children: Donna (Ronnie) Bazzell, Cliff (Deloris) McGhee, Judy (Doug) Stauffer, Joan (Mark) Barrett, Frances (Jeff) Blankenship. Ten Grandchildren: Micki McNeer, Mike Bazzell, Jacob (Shelia) McGhee, Ashley McGhee, Justin (Ashley)Stauffer, Heather Stauffer, Matt (Jonnie) Barrett, Pam (Aaron) Betts, Christy Blankenship and Kelly Blankenship. Eight Great Grandchildren: Haleigh McNeer, Kiley Bazzell, Michael McGhee, Emily McGhee, Joseph Erwin, Trestin Erwin, Scarlette Erwin and Elaina Nelson. Special thanks to Clanton Alacare Hospice and granddaughters: Micki McNeer and Christy Blankenship for their loving caregiving. Mrs. McGhee was a member of Deatsville Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held on Friday February 20th at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel at 2:00 pm with Pat Ozment officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Active Pallbearers will be loving members of Deatsville Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens Cemetery. Ridout’s Prattville Chapel Directing.
