After graduating from Kutztown University, Sandy started her working life as a teacher before moving into life insurance. Later, she worked for Nationwide Insurance before beginning a multi-decade career at Alfa Insurance.
Sandy lived her life the best she knew and left this earth wishing that her children find comfort and happiness in a mixed-up world. She spent most of her adult life taking care of someone: kids, parents, grandkids, and numerous animals. She has earned her rest and peace.
Sandy was preceded in death by her husband, Hilton; father, Webb; mother, Mary Kate; and brother, Bill.
She is survived by her brother Gene; her sons Ted, Michael and Chris; her daughters Heather and Melissa; and a small army of grandchildren. She held a special place in her heart for friends BJ Noble and Cherie Smith.
A celebration of life will be held on November 23, 2024 from 2:00-5:00 pm at 511 Jasmine Trail in Prattville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to an organization of your choosing.
