Nancy Wright Wade

Nancy Wright Wade, age 60, of Prattville, Alabama passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph W. Wright; mother, Minnie Lee Wright; son, Eric Thomas Wade; and sister, Vivian Wright Carlisle. She was survived by her husband, Mark E. Wade; son, Gavin T. Wade; sister, Glenda Wright, as well as cousins and extended family.

In loving memory of Nancy, who was blessed with 36 years of joyful companionship alongside Mark and poured her heart into being a nurturing mother to Gavin. She was a member of the Church of the Highlands and holds dear ties with First Baptist Church in Prattville, Nancy's love extended to crafting heartfelt gift baskets with her sister Glenda and exploring the wonders of travel.

With a heart dedicated to service, she spent 28 fulfilling years at the Alabama State Board of Missions, followed by a decade of compassion as a victim locator for the State of Alabama. Nancy's profound love for her family was the anchor of her life, and her absence leaves a poignant void. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love she so generously shared with those fortunate enough to know her.

A visitation for Nancy will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ridout's-Brown-Service Prattville Chapel, 347 East Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067. A visitation will occur Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 12:30 PM, 347 E Main St, Prattville, Alabama 36067. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 1:00 PM, 347 East Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067.
