Mabel Whetstone, 71, a lifelong Prattville resident, passed away Monday May 23, 2016. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM Friday May 27th at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel followed by her funeral service at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Rob Couch officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memorial Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David, and her sister, Theresa Coats. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Shannon and Chad Lapp of Deatsville; her son and daughter in law, Angus and Felicia Whetstone of Saraland, Alabama; a sister and brother in law, Gwen and Dan Nelson of Haleyville, Alabama; a brother in law, John Coats of Prattville; five grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
