Ella Mae Conner Gurr

Ella Mae Follendore Conner Gurr, 84, of Prattville, Alabama, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021. Ms. Gurr was born August 24, 1937 to the late Thomas A. and Minnie Mae Follendore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren L. Conner Sr.; son, Warren L. Conner Jr., and her sister Ruby C. Follendore. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Lewis; grandchildren, Jessica Lewis, Jeff W. Lewis and his wife, Miranda, Amanda England and her husband Lexie, Justin W. Conner and his wife Brittany; great grandchildren, Cody, Nick, Hunter, Kayleigh, Conner, Hudson, Neriah, Camden, Kailey, Isabelle, Kassidy, Natalye and Dylan.

Ms. Gurr retired from the Grocery industry after many years, and was a member of Open Door Baptist Church, and the Bama Brush Strokes. She loved her church and was an active member for many years. She was a very talented painter and won many awards for her paintings. She also loved to travel. She loved her family and will be deeply missed by them.

Services for Ms. Gurr will be Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Ridouts Prattville Chapel with the visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Willis Hinton Cemetery on County Road 77, Billingsley, Alabama. Officiating her service will be her grandson Jeff Lewis, serving in the place of her pastor, Ken Stodola, who is unable to attend. Pallbearers will be her great grandsons with Forrest “Gump” Warren serving as honorary pallbearers.
