CHAMPION, Carolyn Charlene, 69, of Prattville, AL, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanford 'Buck' Champion; her parents, Lois and Savannah Wooten; her two brothers, Billy Charles Wooten and Early Ray Wooten; and her sister Nellie Wooten. She is survived by one daughter, Cindy (Joe) Crawford; two sons, Danny (Tanya) Champion and Stanley Champion; three sisters, Birdet (Rayford) Pendergrass, Margaret Hutto, and Willowdean Lewis; and five grandchildren, Becky (Jim) Freeland, Allison (Chan) Lowe, Justin Crawford, Carly (Chris) Brasie, and Austin Champion; and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Nelson Champion, Chuck Latshaw, Danny Johnson, Jim Freeland, Chan Lowe, Chris Brasie, Justin Crawford, and Austin Champion. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Ridout's Prattville Chapel with Rev. Randy Newman. Burial will be followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.
