Brenda Ann Johns of Prattville, Alabama passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 7, 2024 at the age of 75. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kelly Moses Sapp and Betty Ann Sapp, and her sons, Raymond Todd Johns and Michael Scott Johns. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Raymond Steven Johns; her daughter Jennifer Ann Moseley (David); granddaughters, Breanna Kendall Moseley, Alana Rachael Moseley, and Madeline Carroll Moseley; two sisters, Sherry Kay Beck and Luci Jill Walden (Winston), and many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Brenda was born in Quitman, Georgia on February 17, 1948. She was raised in Moultrie, Georgia where she met and married the love of her life, Raymond Steven Johns, on September 1, 1966. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend who exemplified unconditional love, care, and protection for those she held dear. She had a devout faith in the Lord that was unwavering in the face of tragedy and tribulation. It was her spirited and giving nature, grace, elegance, and strength that will eternally serve as an inspiration to all who were blessed to be loved by such a beautiful soul.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on January 9, 2024 at Ridout’s – Brown Service Prattville Chapel from 5 p.m. to 7.p.m. Funeral services will be held on January 11, 2024 at Baker Funeral Home in Moultrie, Georgia at 3 p.m. with the visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Glass, Joe Lawson, CJ Leach, David Moseley, Garry Moseley, and Winston Walden.
