She was born November 24, 1946, in Lambert, Mississippi to proud parents James and Mae Ella Hill.
Willa attended Muncie Central High School where she received her diploma. She decided to further her education and graduated from Long Beach City College. She then attended Dodge Drafting School, where she earned her AA degree in drafting, and she also earned her bachelor's degree in Computer Aided Drafting.
In 1963, Willa entered parenthood becoming a mother to her three sons brought her great joy.
Willa began her employment at The Long Beach VA Hospital, Long Beach Naval Shipyard and Long Beach Transit. Willa loved to play Bingo in her spare time. She had a passion for drawing and reupholstering.
Will was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mae Ella Hill; and her sister, Bobbie.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her sisters, Emma and Joyce; brother, Randy; three sons, Rodney (LaShonda), Timmy and Craig; grandsons, Jeremiah, Timmy Jr., Samari, and Rodney Jr., granddaughters, Courtney, Rosemary, and Raven; and great grandchildren, Samia Willa Gonzales, Miah Hollowell, Zarniah Hollowell, and Jeremiah Hollowell Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
