Our family is deeply saddened to inform you that our beautiful daughter Rachel Elizabeth Fischer joined the angels in heaven on September 26, 2019. Rachel Elizabeth Fischer was born on December 21, 1996 in Portland, OR to her parents Tom and Liz Fischer. She arrived as the third child in the family to her two big brothers Jacob and Matthew. Rachel has suffered for the last few years from depression. The strength and courage she displayed in fighting this horrible disease inspired all who know her. Sadly, her pain became overwhelming. She is now at peace as this disease can no longer torment her.
She is preceded by her Grandfather Donald Fischer. She is survived by her parents Tom and Liz Fischer, brothers Jacob and Matthew, Grandparents Elizabeth Fischer, Neill and Suzanne Smith and her adopted sisters Olivia Maxwell and Sophia Anderson. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a large community of Aloha Warriors.
Rachel was a shining light in our lives and for all she touched. Our hearts are broken but we also rejoice in the time we had with her. Please join us as we celebrate her life on Saturday, October 5th. Services will be at 1:00 pm at Skyline Memorial Cemetery Chapel 4101 Northwest Skyline Blvd., Portland, OR 97229 and a Celebration of Life at 3:30 pm at Aloha High School 18550 SW Kinnaman Rd, Aloha, OR 97078
The family requests that you please wear bright colors or tie-dyed apparel for we are sure our little artist would prefer a colorful event.
