After graduating from Grant High school, she met and fell in love with Kingston McGuire. They married in 1952, and enjoyed a 62 year marriage. Phyllis loved spending time with her family, playing bridge with friends, playing golf with King, and spending time at their Cannon Beach home.
Phyllis is survived by her two children, Trudy (John), Stan (Pauline); and her five grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of her life will be held from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Friday, Aug. 25, 2017, at Lincoln Memorial Park, 11801 S.E. Mt. Scott Blvd. All are welcome to attend.
