Mona Christine Pelcha

Mona is survived by her children, Sandra McCool husband Greg, Teresa Pelcha, Christine Densmore husband David, Tamy Hamilton husband Rodney. She is preceded in death by her husband Earl Pelcha, daughter Diana Lonnecker and Grandson Nicholas Allen Anderson.

Mona was born on September 3, 1934 in Brodhead, Kentucky to Albert Pal and Minnie May Moore. She married Earl Pelcha, her soulmate in 1956. The couple raised 5 daughters in a loving home and was set on teaching them strong family values. Her children remember her as a driven Mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

She} was a devoted wife and Mother who loved her family and who was passionate about her 15 Grandchildren and her Great-Grandchild.

A funeral is scheduled for 2:00 at Skyline Memorial Gardens with a reception to follow. Chaplain David Mossholder will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Monas's life. The family would like to thank Frankie and Olga, Mona’s caregivers for all their amazing love and support. Anita, Linda and Sharilynn at Hospice and Chaplain Dave! Every time he came to see Mona she would light up when he entered the room saying “What’s cookin good lookin” Their wisdom and knowledge was heartfelt. Thank you to Mona’s Granddaughter Ashley Kays for making your Grandmothers journey as smooth as possible.
