Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Marie V Brown 90, passed away at her home in Salem July 28th 2019. She was born in eastern Colorado and moved to Salem in 1946 to be with her sister Doris. She married Dement Brown Jr in 1948 and moved to Portland then Aloha where her and Dement raised four children. Marie went to college while raising the children and became an elementary teacher. She later became a real estate agent and then a masseuse. Later in life she worked with Dement at Woodstock Mower & Chainsaw- a business they bought. She will be missed by many.
