Deanna was no stranger to laughter and love. There will be much mourning across the country from her birth state of California to her special friends and family in Tennessee, Idaho, Nevada, Minnesota and Oregon.
Deanna grew up in California and moved to Idaho with her son and daughter in the 70’s. She was a devoted mother to her two children, Deb and Rob. After her children had grown she went back to get her nursing degree and had a successful career as a registered nurse. She moved to Oregon in 2008. Deanna met Terry, her husband and love of her life in 2015 and they were married that same year.
She was always ready for a game of cards or mahjong. She loved all plants and would visit nurseries often as a way to be grounded. She was happy to share details of where to find all the best plants and flowers. She loved trips to the beach where she could watch the waves. Her joy for life was an inspiration. Her abiding faith in Christ was her compass.
Deanna was preceded in death by her parents William and Leslie Davis. She is survived by her husband Terry Walker, daughter Deb France, daughter-in-law Sally Cochrane, son Rob Hancock, granddaughter Mattie Hancock, grandson Robbie Hancock, great granddaughter Aniya Hancock, and great grandson Maddix McDonald. She is also survived by many special cousins and close friends.
We will miss you Dee Dee. You changed the world by being a warm, kind hearted human being.
Donations to the National Psoriasis Foundation or the American Cancer Society are welcome in lieu of flowers.
