Clayton Ikaika Ho’opumaikai Analani Yukio Kangiser, son of Laurel Naomi Asai and Todd Kangiser was born in Portland Oregon on August 13th 1994. Clayton was a graduate of Century High School, Hillsboro and Portland State University. He served honorably as a corporal in the US Marine Corp.
Clayton passed from this life on July 11th 2019 at the untimely age of 24. He will be sorely missed. He was a kind and loving man with close ties to family and friends including his siblings Kelsey and Cody Kangiser, Grandmothers Mervelee Asai and Stephanie Kangiser and, Grandfather Lawrence Asai , aunts Beth Hoffman (Jay) and Rachel Sterrett (Reese), uncles Larry, Lionel (Janet), Keone (Christel) and Lyle Asai.
Clayton was preceeded in death by Grandfather Lawrence Milo Kangiser and great grandfathers Lawrence E Kangiser, Gordan Nast and Herbert Kaneholani, also his great grandmothers Shirley Kangiser, Frances Nast-Conner and Elizabeth Kaneholani.
The family would also like to acknowledge Clayton’s best friends who have loved, supported and been like family to him: Kai Moua, Tyler Jorgensen, Nick Calkins and Chris Lindholm
