Clarence "Rat" Ratcliff Sr. was born November 17, 1944 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Johnny and Mary Ratcliff. Rat had 6 siblings and his sister, Rochelle, nephews/niece Daniel & Eartha Bullock.
In his early years he attended George Washington Carver High in Picayune, Mississippi. After school he worked at the Paper Mill and various odd jobs in order to assist his family with the finances.
Rat Joined his wife Yvonne in 1966 and moved to Portland, Oregon where he started his life. Rat was a family man who was a proud owner as a Scrap Metal Business. Rat was proud of his religion as a Jehovah Witness and always put Jehovah First.
Rat had 9 kids, and a host of grandkids and great grandkids whom he loved dearly. Rat often made the trip back home to Mississippi to continue the relationship with his nieces and nephews who still lived there.
Rat loved watching Softball, he was an avid San Francisco 49ers Fan, Kansas City Chief fan, and enjoyed taking long drives with his wife Yvonne often chasing the weather when it was snowing.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
