It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, and friend, Christian Tyler Sage, on May 14, 2023. Christian was born in Portland, Oregon, on May 28, 2001. Christian is survived by; his mother, Stacy Sage, and older brother, Ceejay. Christian loved that he was the youngest and would use it to his advantage. He would play the “little brother” or the “baby of the family card” to get his way and often would refer to himself as the favorite.
Christian attended Milwaukie High School and graduated in 2019. He loved football and played on his High School team, the Milwaukie Mustangs. His favorite teams were the Seattle Seahawks and Oregon Ducks.
Shortly after graduation, Christian enlisted in the Army National Guard for four years before being honorably discharged. He pursued a career at Schnitzer Steel. With all his hard work, he was promoted to heavy equipment operator. Christian knew what he wanted in life. He was a hard worker and would accomplish anything he put his mind to. Christian loved to work with his hands, and his goal was to become an electrician; a homeowner and plant a cherry blossom tree in his yard.
Christian had an appreciation for Asian culture. He loved the food, watching anime, cherry blossom trees, going to the Japanese Garden Downtown Portland, and was planning to visit Japan within the next two years.
Christian will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious and sometimes mischievous smile, and unwavering love for his family, friends, his dedication, and hard work. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
