Charlene was preceded in death by her daughter Denise Early; her sister Eilene Hartzler; and her parents Charles and Vesta.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Percy McCarthy; her son Darrel McCarthy of Oregon City; her daughter Diana Schmaltz of Battle Ground, WA; her six grandchildren: Heather McCarthy, Sarah Davis, Ken Dimoff, Liz Dimoff, JB McCarthy, and Nick Early; and her four great grandchildren: Josie Davis, Brooklyn Davis, Katarina More’, and Cameron McCarthy; her brothers Loren Dew of Oregon City; Harley Dew of Eureka, CA; and her sister Shirley Stockton of Salem, OR.
Charlene’s favorite past times were reading and crocheting. She spent her life being a homemaker and mom.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 3:00pm at Lincoln Memorial Park Mausoleum.
