Barbara had many hobbies, but especially enjoyed knitting and shopping. She had a very special love of her 10 grandchildren, and spent as much time with each as possible. Like many grandmothers, she had recipes that her family enjoyed; fish and chips, pies and jellies were among the favorites.
Barbara was devoted to her faith, and was a member of the Central Church of the Nazarene. She loved music, and found particular joy in listening to traditional church hymns.
Barbara passed away on May 8, 2018 in Portland, Oregon. She will be interred with her beloved husband George in Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.
