He was born in Litchfield, Illinois on July 25, 1953 to his parents Eileen Augusta Eby and Ira Elmer Wilson, Jr. Allan was raised in California, as well as Oregon in his teenage years.
Allan graduated from Colton High School in Oregon, and joined the Marines where he served as an equipment operator for eight years. He also served in the National Guard for four years.
After completing his military service, Allan met his wife, Kathleen Marie Wilson, in Oregon. They had two children together. Kathleen passed away in 2010, and sometime later, Allan met Shari. They married, and shared their home with two beloved pets – a dog named Peaches, and a cat named Oseza.
Throughout his life, Allan worked as a long haul truck driver, a city worker who maintained baseball fields, and then as an employee at Toyota Lift. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, as well as a trustee, and was always involved in events for veterans through the Lodge.
Allan took pride in helping on the annual church barbeque, as well as playing Santa Claus occasionally for Christmas. Through woodshop classes in high school, he discovered a love of woodworking that he continued to pursue throughout his life. He loved to build birdhouses, and his wife would paint them.
Allan will forever be remembered as an incredibly loving and caring person who was always willing to help those in need - he would do anything for anyone at any time! In addition to his endless capacity for love and kindness, he had a very fun sense of humor.
Allan is survived by his wife Shari, his children Melinda, Allan Lee, Jr., Heidi as well as his siblings Suzanne, Kathy, Steve, Jimmy, Bonnie, and Carolyn.
