She was the devoted daughter of Micheline L. (Stevens) Durham-Coulson and her husband Ernie Coulson of Wells and the late Edward E. Durham. She graduated Wells High School in 1987 and was a whiz with computing and design graphics.
Shannon was a loving person who very much enjoyed her daughter Cassandra Durham and her granddaughter Summer Marie Durham to the hilt. All the children in her neighborhood ended up at her home and she was known to all as Grammy.
She had an amazingly big heart and was always ready to please and help. She volunteered at Seeds of Hope Pantry in Biddeford, where she also took her granddaughter and other neighborhood children, to explain the needs of other people and to know God.
She was living in Biddeford with her fiancé David Boynton; they loved fishing as well as having all the different children around, especially Summer Marie.
Besides her mother, step-father and fiancée, she is survived by her daughter Cassandra Durham and her granddaughter Summer Marie Durham both of Rochester, NH. She also leaves her twin sister Marcella Mayo and her husband Bruce, another sister Angie Stone-McCarthy and her husband Joe, two brothers Steve Stone and his wife Becky and Edward Roy Durham all of Wells as well as her Maternal Grandfather Roy C. Stevens, nieces and nephews Bethany Stone, Steve Stone, Nicole Mayo and Josh Mayo all of Wells. She was also the Maternal Granddaughter of the late Louise Stevens.
