He was born on July 31, 1935 in Auburn, Maine, the 3rd of 4 children of Theodore Carlton Reynolds and Elinor Adelaide (Gilbert) Reynolds. He graduated from Edward Little High School in 1953, Auburn Maine School of Commerce in 1956 and from Bentley College in 1959.
Ron married Marie Alice Forgue, (Alice) on September 14, 1957. After graduation from Bentley, he took a job with Burlington Industries and they moved to Greensborough, NC. They made their way back to Maine when Ron was transferred to Lisbon Falls. They welcomed a son, Michael Blaine in December of 1962. In 1963 Ron took a job with Geiger Brothers in Lewiston where he worked until he retired as CFO in 1998.
In 1981, he married Constance Louise Lebel, (Connie). They made their home in Lewiston and later moved to Venice, Florida. Ron was active in many community and professional organizations, including Rotary and the Elks Club among others. He enjoyed bowling, tennis, skiing, golf, and traveling. He was an avid golfer and was a long-time member of Martindale Country Club and Waterford Country Club in Venice Fl. He played tennis well into his 80’s. He and Connie played duplicate bridge together and played in many bridge groups in Maine and Florida as well as traveling to tournaments around the country. Ron continued to play, and win, until the week he passed.
Ron is survived by son Michael Reynolds and his wife, Jamie Morin; step daughter Susan and her husband, John Geismar; step son L. Thomas Raymond and his wife, Theresa Cameron Raymond; step daughter Martha and her husband, Timothy Venter; step son-in-law J. Christopher Turner; sister Sandy Scribner and many grand, and great-grand, children.
Ron was pre-deceased by his parents, his first wife Alice, his wife Connie, his brothers John and Theodore, and his step daughter Christine Turner. A private family celebration of life will be held later. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ron's memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
