Ronald Edward Jolly

Ron was born in Birmingham, AL June 14, 1961 the son of Jack and Carol (Taylor) Jolly.

He was a graduate of Grace Baptist School in Portland class of 1980. Ron had served with the United States Marine Corps for seven years and ten months.

He was married to Nancy Numberg on October 29, 1999 at Grace Baptist Church, Portland.

In his earlier years Ron had worked as an over the road Truck Driver. For the last 7 years he had worked for the F.W.Webb Company in So. Portland.

Ron hobbies included model cars preferably mopar and working on cars and he has left many unfinished projects behind. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Portland.

Ron is survived by his wife Nancy Jolly of Windham, his three sons, Ronald Eric Jolly and his wife Adrienne Jolly of Windham, Anthony Babb of Orono, Jason Koundry and his wife Jessica Koundry of West Haven, CT, his four daughters , Sarah Jolly of Saco, Jessica Koundry of Portland, Jennifer Jackson and her husband Jonathan Jackson of West Haven, CT and Eliza Koundry of Old Town, ME. His brother John Jolly and his wife Dorothea Jolly of Morgantown, NC, his sister Barbara Jolly –Deakle and her husband John of Gulfport, MS, his parents, Jack and Carol Jolly of Morganton, NC. Ron is also survived by his seven grandchildren, Aunts, Uncles, numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and friends. Also a very special uncle whom Ron was especially close with, Lonnie Taylor and wife Karen of South Portland and their children. Aunt Lolly Van Devender , and husband Carl, and Aunt Linnea Farrar.

Relatives and friends are invited to a time of visitation on Friday May 27, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home 199 Woodford St. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday May 28, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Grace Baptist Church, 476 Summit St. Portland.

Graveside committal services with military honors will take place at a later date at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Augusta.
