Patricia Jane Whitten

Surviving members include Theresa Tarantino Haggett with Michael Haggett and Granddaughters Maryssa Haggett and Kayla Haggett. Three children predeceased were Isadore Tarantino, Francesca Spain and John Vince Tarantino. She was one of seven siblings. Born to predeceased parents Dana and Marcella Pratt in Gloucester, Mass. Also several predeceased siblings. Dana Pratt and his surviving wife Nancy and three children with family. Richard Pratt with surviving nieces and nephews, Barbara (Joseph) Wilson with surviving nieces and nephews, Marilyn (Arthur) Libby with surviving nieces and nephews, Donny (Pam) Pratt with surviving nieces and nephews. One surviving sibling Hazel Pratt and surviving nieces and nephews.

Living mostly by the sea, she told stories of Long Beach in Gloucester as a child with her grandmother. She would recall memories with best friend Joanie and meeting the father of her children Peter Tarantino as a teen, often. She loved to dance and play cards throughout her life starting early.

There were Many trips to casinos with her brother Donny, then niece/nephew Bridget and Cory Pratt. She spent over 20 years married raising four children before moving to Maine. Her favorite job was at Snow’s later Borden’s Canning factory. Eventually meeting Calvin Storey and living in Scarborough Maine almost 35 years. There were lots of card parties and even a trip to Las Vegas. Patricia passed at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House where there was a brief stay after several months at Maine Medical Center where she successfully battled cancer then passed from complications during recovery.
