Marcus Anthony Stewart

Marcus was an amazing soul who’s smile and laugh lit up a room the second he walked in. He was always there if you needed a hug, someone to listen or a shoulder to lean on for family, friends or even a complete stranger he thought needed him. He will always be remembered for his love for his New York Yankees, LA Lakers, and the Miami Dolphins. If there was a game on you knew where he was because you could already hear him yelling at the TV from a mile away. The only thing that surpasses his love for sports was his love for his family and friends who he loved with all his being.

Marcus was predeceased by his paternal Grandfather Willie M. Stewart, maternal grandparents Donald and Wanda Merrill and uncles Kenneth and Bobby Merrill.

He is survived by his parents, Garrett and Sadie Stewart, Katie and Rodney Chisolm, Paternal grandmother Dannita Stewart-Lofton, siblings Brie (JV) Kirkland, Rob Foster, Garrett Jr., Shea and Elijah Stewart, and Julia and Vincent Sirois.

The family invites you to a time of visitation on Sunday February 13th from 10:00am to 11:00am immediately followed by a funeral service at 11:00am at Jones, Rich & Barnes Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St, Portland ME 04103.
