She was born in Taunton, MA on August 28, 1947 a daughter of the late Andrew A. & Esther G. (Simpson) Reed. She grew up in Taunton, attending local area schools and graduating from Taunton High School.
After High School, Linda attended nursing school and obtained her CNA Certification. As a CNA she worked for Clover Manor in Auburn as well as doing Home Health Care until she retired. After retirement she went back to work at Walmart in Brunswick.
She enjoyed macramé and plants as well as dancing and bingo.
She is survived by five children Tammy Desrosiers of Norway, ME, Lester Wordell of Lisbon, Andrew Wordell of Lewiston, Carrie Wordell of Oakland and Lisa Douin of Auburn. She also leaves her sister Patricia Reed of Hudson, FL and nine grandchildren Treva, Natashia, Jared, Justin, Devin, Kai, Karaline, Joshua and Destonie and three great grandchildren Aubree, Carter and Niko.
Per her request, Funeral Services will be private.
