Kaitlin was born in New York, NY, daughter of Richard P. McArdle and Suzanne W. McArdle. Kaitlin was a graduate of Falmouth High School in Falmouth, ME and James Madison University in Harrisburg, VA. After college, Kaitlin went on to work for the Defense Intelligence Agency in Washington, DC. She later worked for the Special Olympics in Washington, DC, and most recently worked in marketing for TD Bank.
Kaitlin was known for her generosity, sense of humor and contagious laugh. Kaitlin was fiercely loyal to her family and friends, and loved by all whose lives she touched. Nothing made her happier than spending time with her nieces and nephews. Kaitlin loved to help others, often making herself available to anyone that needed to talk and their spirits lifted. She had a strong passion for helping those with special needs, which was evident through her years of volunteering as a coach for Special Olympic athletes in Fairfax, Virginia.
Kaitlin is survived by her Parents of Falmouth; Grandmother Barbara G. Wagner of Fort Myers, FL; Sisters, Jillian M. Curran and her husband Ryan, Meredith M. Bergin and her husband Dan, Brother, Patrick W. McArdle; nieces and nephews, Benjamin R. Curran, Mason P. Bergin, Piper L. Curran and Teagan E. Bergin.
Kaitlin was a communicant of Holy Martyrs Church in Falmouth.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Monday, November 6, 2017 at Holy Martyrs Church, 266 Foreside Road in Falmouth, ME.
