Jacqueline E. Swann

Jackie was born in Portland on April 30, 1970 to Terry Swan and June Doucette. She attended local schools and for several years worked as a CNA.

Jackie was a loving and caring woman. She loved the outdoors, especially time spent at the beach. She also enjoyed watching horror movies, beading, and collecting candles. Above all though was family; Jackie was always one to put others needs before her own, especially when it came to her children.

Jackie is survived by her children; Michael P. Burns and Daniel M. Burns of Windham; her mother June Dominicus and her husband Rick of Windham; her father Terry Swann and his wife Carole of Springfield, MA; a sister Carla E. Swann of Westbrook; her grandmother Josephine Swann of Swanns island and Bar Harbor; a granddaughter Ella Faye, and a nephew Cameron. Also surviving is her former husband and dear friend Daniel C. Burns and his wife Jaime of Windham, and extended family members.

Visiting hours for Jackie will be held this Tuesday, October 7, from 5 to 7 PM at the Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. Portland. A 10:00 AM Mass of Christian burial for Jackie will held at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 307 Congress St. Portland on Wednesday October 8.
