Douglas Paul Michaud Jr.

Doug was born in Portland on August 21, 1990 to Douglas Michaud Sr. and Marcy Laughlin-Michaud. He attended both Windham and Portland Schools. He worked as a property manager and had dreams of becoming a firefighter. In the spring of 2019 he met the love of his life, Jamie Wakefield who was his world. He was very excited to become a dad to Luca and start a family of his own.

Doug was a devoted boyfriend, son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend who enjoyed spending time with friends and family as much as possible. He loved watching his niece and nephew’s sporting events and cheering them on from the sidelines, riding motorcycles, playing pool at Champions Sports Bar, hockey, attending car shows multiple times a week, his dog Jeanie, and camping with Jamie and her family. He took pride in the multi family home he owned and enjoyed remodeling it. He was proud to support local and be part of the Biddeford community. He was a very generous man who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Doug is survived by his loving girlfriend Jamie Wakefield, their unborn son Luca, his sister Tiffany Richards, brother in-law Chip Richards, and brother Brian Rawls. He is predeceased by his father Douglas Michaud Sr., his mother Marcy Laughlin-Michaud, his grandmother Marcia Whipple, and grandparents Marty and Donna Laughlin.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Monday September 27 at New Life Church 551 Alfred St., Biddeford followed by a celebration of life at Champions Sports Bar 15 Thornton St. Biddeford.
