It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Daniel Joseph Wellehan Jr. on Monday, December 16, 2024, at his home. Daniel was a beloved member of his family and a respected leader in the shoe manufacturing industry in Maine. He played an instrumental role in the success and growth of the family business, leaving a lasting impact on the industry and his community.
Daniel will be remembered for his leadership, dedication, and the values he instilled in those around him.
Family and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Friday, January 10, 2025 from 4-7 PM at Jones, Rich & Barnes Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. Portland.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 326 Main St. Yarmouth.
Burial with Military Honors will be held in the Spring at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Lewiston.
