Born in Romance, West VA, Thomas was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL since 1981, moving from Crosslanes, WV.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Haynes worked for W. Kost Truss Company in Palm City, FL for 25 years.
Thomas was of the Pentecostal faith. He enjoyed folk painting and working on clock works and jigsaw puzzles.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Carole Haynes of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter and son-in-law, Tonja Dale and John Lombardi of Port St. Lucie, FL; three grandchildren, J.J. Lombardi, Hannah Lombardi and Thomas Lombardi, all of Port St. Lucie, FL; five brothers, Larry Haynes of New Haven, WV, Lovell Haynes, Jr. of Nitro, WV, Lyndon Haynes of Martinsburg, WV, Joe Boggess and Terry Boggess , both of Poca, WV; and two sisters, Sandy Kark of Dunbar, WV and Teresa of LA.
Funeral Services will be at a later date.
