Larry J. Pratt, 71, of Port St. Lucie, passed away Friday, June 5, 2015 at Tradition Medical Center in Port St. Lucie, FL. Larry was born in Carlinville, Illinois. Larry is a United States Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran. He was a proud survivor of the 1st Battalion 9th Marines, "Walking Dead".. Prior to retirement he worked seventeen years as a Veterans Representative for the Unemployment Office in Springfield, Illinois. He had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for the past four years coming from Springfield, Illinois. Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Lynda K. Pratt; one daughter, Tracey Lewis; one son, Michael and his wife Lisa Pratt; six grandchildren, Ashley Ford, Lt. Nicholas “Nick” Garcia, David Garcia, Reid Pratt, Lily Lewis and Hope Lewis. Out-of-Town visitation will be held from 9:30 am- 11:30 am, Monday, June 15, 2015 at Bisch & Son Funeral Home, 505 East Allen, Springfield, IL 62703, tel # (217)544-5424. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:30 am in the chapel. Burial will be held at 1:30 pm, Monday, June 15, 2015 at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, Illinois.
