John P. Carmody

Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, Jack and his family moved to the Jersey Shore where they resided for 34 years before retiring to St. Lucie West, FL in 2004. In addition to serving in the US Army, Jack spent many years as a professional drummer performing throughout New York and the Jersey Shore. He spent 25 years as the Beverage Manager of the Spring Lake Golf Club. Jack was also a lifetime member of the Elks and a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus.

Jack and his loving wife Noreen enjoyed traveling and spending time with their family and friends. Jack was known for his amazing sense of humor and love of entertaining all those around him.

Jack is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years Noreen and their three children & their families; Patricia & Frank Bachman, Wall, NJ; John “Jack”, Port St. Lucie, FL; Christian & KerryAnn, Wall, NJ. Jack & Noreen have five grandchildren, Heather (Justin), Melanie (Drew), Shannon (Manny), Brendan & Quinn, as well as four great-grandchildren, Maya, Abigail, Callie and Luca. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 350 NW California Blvd, St. Lucie West, FL 34986.

Visitation will follow from 12:00 pm - 2:30 pm, at Aycock FH-Byrd, Young & Prill Chapel, 1170 SW Bayshore Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986.
