Mrs Felix was one of the most amazing people I ever met. Since day one we have been friends since coaching Jason. She was one of my best coaches. Trying to put in words how amazing she was would take an eternity. Saturday mornings won't be the same without you, we always had our laughs before your games. Such an incredible person I am really gonna miss you!

To Jamie's Family and Boys, I send you my heartfelt thoughts and prayers at this time. I worked with Jamie in Okeechobee and she was ALWAYS a Bright, shining  person. Her love for All her children always shown through no matter what! Her loving, energetic personality will forever be missed. My condolences to you all.

No matter what, at the end of the Ms.Felix loved 4 things the most. Her kids, her students, math, and the Michigan teams. Not only was Ms.felix an absolutely amazing teacher she acted as a mother to all of us. On a merely, gloomy, sad, rainy day she was the light in everything she did and said. As her student she was so loved. Not all hero’s wear capes and that shows. I have had amazing teachers in the past but I could never have such a devoted and supportive teacher like her again, she is irreplaceable. Her students are devastated about the tragedy and as a person she deserved so much more because she was genuinely one of the most amazing and impactful people in my life. I am so sorry for her families loss. Ms.Felix completed Manatee and hearing of the school without her is unimaginable.

No matter what, at the end of the day Ms.Felix loved 4 things most. Her kids, her students, math, and the Michigan teams. As her student,  her love spread through all of us. Even if it was a merely sad, rainy, gloomy day she’d bring out the light in everything she did and word she said. She was so loved as not only a teacher but she acted as a mother to all of us. She always made sure we were okay despise everything else going on in her life. Not all hero’s wear capes and that shows. I will never in my life be able to get another teacher so devoted and supportive as she was, not only that but she was amazing at her job. I am so sad and so sorry for her families loss, she deserved so much better as she was a truly amazing person.

It takes an amazing person to dedicate their life to teaching children. You are loved and missed 🤍

I can’t stop crying Jamie was the best I remember sitting through so many games with her cheering our boys on, I remember us trash, talking the referees, and telling our boys to play better, and cheering  on so loud when they played well! We even spent time together off the court, and it meant so much after our boys, parted ways playing ball together we kind of lost contact! The last text I sent her was Mother’s Day, 2022 and she texted me back. Happy Mother’s Day Bestie which is what she called me, I so wish we would have kept in contact. God bless you all. We have certainly lost a Treasure, Jason and Jeremy. Stay strong you are loved. God bless you both.

My heart breaks for the boys and Jamie's family. We had so many good times together cheering on our athletes and traveling for meets. Jamie had a huge heart for her boys and her students. She was an amazingly caring person and teacher who had a passion for what she did. Every moment she had, was spent supporting her boys. I pray they grow up knowing that she will always be with them. My heart and prayers goes out to Jamie's family and for the two boys.  I had worked with Jamie at the Battle Creek Police Department years ago,  and she was always pleasant and a joy to be around.  May God, friends, and family help give you comfort during this very  difficult and sad time.

I don’t even know where to start thank you for always being that second mom to me you were always there for me when I needed it most especially when it came to basketball you never let me give up and always pushed me hard to be successful and you always told me that I would make it somewhere one day as long as I put in the work thank you for just always believing in me and making me a better person and I promise to always be there for Jason and Jermey and continue to push them towards there dreams to and thank you for always looking out for me. Such a crushing loss! Prayers for her darling boys. Her loss is immense, however Jamie would not want tears, always remember her laugh🌼 She was a blessing of sunshine we will all miss.

Rob first met Jamie when she started working at BCPD. She trained to learn the Crime Mapping and Analyst’s function for the department. She would go on to take over that position.

We will always remember her as a smart, happy person from our  time with her. It breaks our hearts that her life was cut far too short.
