Mr. Fearon was born April 6, 1944, in Montego Bay, Jamaica, the son of the late James Ezekiel and Leleith (Porteous) Fearon. He was the youngest of four and the only son. He migrated to the United States in the 1970's and has been a resident of the Port St Lucie area for several years.
He was a licensed welder and later went on to work as a repairman for the Dade County School System.
Duggy was a workaholic who loved to cook and hang out with the boys. He was kind and generous and gave back to the community.
Mr. Fearon is survived by his son, Douglas Jr.; daughters, Andrea and Stacey; a grandson, Jermaine; a son-in-law, Donald Smith; sisters, Jeff (Gloreen Perry), Maise Greaves and Jasmine Yee; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life for Duggy will be held Saturday, June 12, 2021, in the main chapel of the Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 SE Floresta Dr., Port St Lucie, with a reception to follow.
