On March 31, 2015, our beloved mother, Eva Helvey, passed away in Tampa, Florida. She was born Margaret Eva Mais on December 28, 1929 in Long Island, New York. She moved to Florida in 1945 with her mother Margaret and brothers George and Harvey. Her mother and step-father welcomed Guy Joseph Carlisle to make their family complete. She worked as a bookkeeper for Ken Smith Construction and married the love of her life, Edward Helvey, in 1957. She is survived by her 3 children; Stephen Helvey, Gail Frazier and Diane Helvey. She cherished her grandchildren; Wally Frazier, Skylar Stein, Michael Helvey and Van Peterson. She was a member of the Church of Nazarene in Port Orange,Florida as well as a member of the local West Virginia Club. She enjoyed going on cruises with family and friends. She was an amazing woman and will be greatly missed by all. The family will recieve friends Friday April 17 from 6pm-8pm at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Port Orange, Fl.
