Kimberly Stacy, local bartender and waitress, tragically lost her life December 17, 2015 in a mobile home fire. She was 57. Kimberly was born in Charleston, West Virginia on May 30, 1958. She relocated to the Daytona Beach/Port Orange area early in life. Growing up here, she later found employment at many local establishments, including Sarge's Tavern off of Nova Road, The Last Resort, Way Out Inn, the Infield, and the Dock. A part of the Color Guard at Amvets Post 911 in Port Orange, Kimberly also served as bartender for the post. Well known and well loved in the community, she will be missed greatly. A devoted animal lover and artistic being, Kimberly also enjoyed writing fiction, creating pottery, crocheting and anything that allowed her to be creative. Predeceased in 2014 by her mother, Corine Mackey, Kimberly is survived by her daughter, Brittany C. Wilson. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 1st at 12pm (noon) in the chapel of Shannon Maloney Funeral Home, 4084 Halifax Dr., Port Orange, FL 32129.
